The London Library

Welcome to The London Library Archive which contains valuable membership forms from its inception in 1841 up to the present day. This material was originally collected in ledgers with the new member’s name, their address and the name of the member who nominated them. From 1874 onwards these ledgers became membership forms containing more standardised information.

The Library membership forms have all been digitised with forms up to 1950 are available to search here.
